A series of Patchwork Tote Bags I’ve made over the years. The first one was the Charles Bridge image, way back in 2014. Each bag was made with scraps of material, with each side of the bag being different…giving choice to what side I preferred. My favourite is the one featured with the dog chasing the dragon-fly. This was initially picked up in a charity shop, a vintage bag looking the worse for wear, exactly the type of ‘find’ I enjoy! I can see the possibilities and potential of these ‘finds’, and enjoy up-cycling them into something colourful and useable. Materials include old cushion-covers, an old skirt & blouse, and in some, old denim jean pockets are re-used. Each bag is lined, and handles are shoulder-length.
