This is the second time I have taken part in St Monans Community Arts Festival. there were 20 Open Houses with artists showing their work. So much to see and do, I managed to view 13 of the 20 before tiring myself out. There were many activities and workshops held throughout the weekend. I attended a superb workshop held by Susan Forsyth: Coastal Scenes with a Palette Knife, very inspiring! A very enjoyable event, well worth coming along.
The arts festival was set up in 2009 by a group of local people, the festival was built around the talented people living in or with strong connections to the village of St Monans, and has been a great success ever since.
